Wait! What do you mean, what’s the NFC?
There are two conferences in National Football – The NFC and AFC. NFC stands for National Football Conference and AFC stands for American Football Conference. There are 16 teams in the NFC which are divided into north, south, east and west, depending on their hometown location.
North – Green Bay, Minnesota, Chicago and Detroit
South – Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Atlanta and Carolina
East – Dallas, Washington, Philadelphia and NY Giants
West – San Francisco, Seattle, Arizona and St. Louis
We will dive into the divisions and team rivalry soon, but I have to start by giving props to this season’s crop of super talent in the NFC.
