Chicago bears tight-end, Greg Olsen’s mother is a breast cancer survivor, so Breast Cancer Awareness month is close to his heart. Go Sue Olsen!
Olsen said, “It kind of keeps everything in perspective about what’s important. We all think [football] is life and death. Obviously, this is very important. But there are other things outside of what we do here.”
He and other Care Bears donned the fem color pink this week against the Lions.
The NFL is hosting a variety of breast cancer awareness promotions during October; players will wear cleats, hats, decals, ribbons, etc. All in support of ‘the gals’.
Bears fans can buy this t-shirt for $15, and a pink football, how freaking cute is this! All money raised will go to local organizations that provide care, support and assistance to patients and families affected by breast cancer.
