Yes, I know he beat my Giants last week. Yes, it was embarrassing, but I am a bigger woman than that and can see the forest through the brees. I mean trees!

Drew Brees is having a stellar year, 5-0, you can’t beat that with a bat. Off the field he is a strong supporter of his community in New Orleans and beyond. He and his wife, Brittany started the Brees Dreams Foundation in 2003.

They feature five charity programs on his website of which, I want to feature the Purdue Athletes Life Success (PALS) program at Purdue University. Enrollment for this program is open to all youngsters in the community whose parents or guardians meet specific income guidelines. The free program provides sports, fitness, and health instruction, as well as financial literacy to area youth ages 10-16.

Brees and his wife have raised $4.5 million to help advance cancer research, care for cancer patients, and help rebuild schools, parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields in New Orleans, San Diego, and Purdue communities. The energy around this guy is so amazing I am sure he is a delight to have as a celebrity advocate for all of these wonderful charities. And you can take that to the bank.
