Lisa and Susan have been friends since 2002; shopping, wining and dining and…watching football.
Susan is a PR professional and yoga teacher living in the Lincoln Square/Ravenswood neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois. She loves yoga, travel, writing, music and fashion, and is happy to have recently added football to the list! Join her in her journey through 100 yards as she shares her experiences learning about first downs to fumbles to field goals.
Lisa is the owner and Creative Director of Step Brightly Creative Group, a boutique graphic and web design studio out of Oak Park, Illinois. She was born a Florida Gators fan, and has loved football ever since. Admittedly a fair weather fan, and by no means an expert, she is excited about learning more, sharing ideas, juicy tidbits and party tips with women who (will soon) love football too!
Football 101 Women Contributors!
We are thrilled to introduce Paige to the Football 101 Women team. Paige will be a senior this fall at Susan’s alma mater, Illinois State University, in Bloomington, Normal, majoring in Public Relations with an emphasis in sports marketing.
Paige recalls sports being her passion for as long as she can remember. Growing up, she played basketball and softball, but football — from high school to the NFL — was always one of her favorites.
A huge fan of the Chicago Bears and Fighting Illini, she is extremely excited for the season to start and for her role with Football 101 Women sharing news, features and opinions about the game with her fellow female fans (and the occasional male!)
And this is Gina!
Gina, as you can tell by the picture, is a die-hard Packer Backer. Formerly a newspaper reporter and television book reviewer, Gina lives in southwest Missouri and is a mother to two boys, a girl and numerous special needs animals.
We are so excited that Gina is going to share with us her expertise. In her own words, she “has watched and studied the game longer than most of the current players are old!” Check out her series: Football Terms you need to know!
