It’s that time again – a new year. A time to reflect on the past and look toward the future. A time to be proud of all our accomplishments the last 12 months and to set goals for the next 12. And here at Football 101 Women, it’s no different. We’re happy to celebrate the close of our first year (or rather four months!) and to look back on the fun we’ve had with our fans!

Top Ten Holiday Quickies

It’s already December 21th and I still need to wrap up my holiday shopping. This year I swore it would be different, but there are always those last minute, “Oh no! I forgot (fill in the blank).” This year we are going to help you with our Top Ten Holiday Quickies. So relax, The Football 101 Women have you covered:

1. You can’t go wrong with Walgreens. They have NFL footballs, granted you can’t stuff that into a stocking, but wrap it up for hours of fun.
2. GQ Magazine. Here’s the catch, all you need to do is fill out the subscription card and your man will have all the tools needed to smell good and look right in 2010.
3. Pajama pants. Always a hit. And it keeps your man at home, warm and cuddly.

Top 10 reasons Susan already loves football!

The Top 10 reasons I love football so far…

1. The NFL went pink! Anyone who knows me can tell you that pink is my absolute fave color…just check out our site. Besides that, I work in health care and Breast Cancer Awareness is a cause that is near and dear to me. What great PR from the NFL!

2. The NFL moves. Have you seen the way some of those guys flip around the field and just get right back on their feet? I was watching the Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions game on Sunday and Jay Cutler flipped right into a touchdown! Check out YouTube and I guarantee you’ll see some great replays.

Top 10 reasons the NFC rocks – from a women’s perspective

1. Two words Eli.Manning. Show me the money!

2. Donovan McNabb rocks. Micheal Vick, doesn’t. McNabb loves his chunky soup and his mama. Let’s get him healthy from the bruised ribs in week one and back on the playing field before Vick gets a chance.
